Elizabeth de Cleyre is a writer, editor, consultant, clothing designer, co-founder of Dotters Books, and somewhat hard to keep up with.
As an editor and publishing consultant, she’s guided over 70 writers and authors to publication. Her writing is published in Ploughshares online, Brevity, The Review Review, Barstow & Grand, and ayris.
When it comes to design, de Cleyre aims to bring back the textural, tactile and sensory experience of clothing with made-to-measure, custom garments. Each piece is cut by hand and machine sewn with single needle tailoring. Using natural fibers, traditional techniques, and timeless silhouettes, de Cleyre constructs minimal, wearable clothing.
